GLOBE and TM announces 30 days of free Pokemon Go access!

Globe has recently announced that it will be offering a 30-day free Pokemon Go access. It will allow users to play the game with 1GB worth of data dedicated solely for the game.

Starting August 20, both GLOBE and TM subscribers will be able to access Pokemon GO for FREE. They can access the said promo using the Globe Switch app. You probably already know but in case you've missed it, Globe Switch is an application developed by Globe to help their subscribers manage their data.

Pokemon GO is taking the world by storm and GLOBE picked the perfect moment to pull a marketing stunt like this. I'm pretty sure a lot of Pokemon trainers would be happy.

To take advantage of the promo, you first must need to download the Globe Switch app. Get it here.

  2. Is this for prepaid users only? Or postpaid users can participate in this promo? Hahaha it's unfair for the postpaid users! Our data exceeds if we overused the internet. Haha.

  3. Pokemon is such a big thing right now. To be a party pooper; I'm not really into it. I joked the other time about it; while my friends are chasing pokemons, I'm chasing my dreams. Jokes aside; it's good to few passionate about something so why not Pokemon!?

  4. I have a mixed feeling about Pokemon Go. Back in my days, the big thing were the robots - Voltes V, Mazinger Z, and arcade gaming featuring Pacman, Galaxian, etc. They were banned because we were skipping classes and fixated on gaming, we were not doing our homeworks because we were watching the robot shows.

Today, it is easy to say parents can discipline children. Easier said than done when many adults themselves are the ones playing.

Make no mistake about the promotion, it intends to take more money from user base who play the game.

    Moderation... :)

  5. I'm really not into Pokemon Go. I mean I like the whole treasure hunt idea, but I have no affiliation with Pokemon. What I do like about the game is the fact that it seems to draw people outside instead of sitting behind their laptop. About the action I agree with Robert, seems to me there is a catch..
